Why doTERRA Oils
This is one question we get all of the time. And with the conversation of essential oils becoming a common place thing, this question is more important than ever. Especially when we can "essential oils" popping up around every cotton-pickn' corner.
I can boil it down to a couple for direct reasons. Chemistry and Mission.
Chemistry
This is a massive deal. This is where you will find the effectiveness of your usage and safety using oils will be different. Efficacy, potency and consistency is all wrapped up in the specific sourcing and testing of that chemistry in every. single. batch.
Transparency is so needed in an industry that has little to no regulations at this time. Want to know who, where and how your oils get to you. You {must} visit Souretoyou.com. All the feels on this website. You get a really good image of who all is behind these beautiful oils. Growers. Distillers. Scientists. Practitioners. Us. Oh man are we in such good company.
Although I could write all out for you all the specifics of which tests and what they mean, dōTERRA Science Lab does it best! Please see this awesome video to give you a full run down about what the receiving and testing process looks like at dōTERRA.
Mission
When you start studying dōTERRA, you will quickly find that we all are extremely passionate about who and what each bottle of oil represents. These bottles are simply just oils for us anymore. They are growers, families, distillers, communities....
Are you sitting down? Do you have a tissue near? Your going to need it with this one. Co-Impact Sourcing. I don't care how many times I see an image, a video, know of story, I tear up every time. I wouldn't put myself in a overly emotional category. But honestly, this is where our hearts are. This is our impact we are making when we get to share oils with people like you. You just can't help but feel the heart beaming through these words, landscapes and faces. Sustainability. This is critical. Coming from 2 midwestern farm kids, we know first hand how important sustainable farming practices are to future crops, and vibrant future crops. Although we both have left the John Deere career world, we feel more engaged in the Agricultural Industry than we ever have before in our adults lives.
doTERRA is in the business of changing lives. And it is super rad to be just be one of the vessels. This became abundantly clear in early 2017 when we were able to be one of the few that had the opportunity to go on a Healing Hands/Co-Impact Souring trip with doTERRA to Guatemala. Here is a glimpse of the people we were able to shake hands and hug.
